User Instructions

This CD should start itself once you insert it into the CD-ROM drive. If it does not, access the CD-ROM and double click on “index.htm”. 

Browser: The contents on this CD are best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. You may download this software from Microsoft’s web site (www.microsoft.com).  

You can also use Netscape Navigator but some specific formatting might be lost and certain pages will not appear as intended. 

Screen Resolution: Set your screen area to 800 x 600 pixels or above running at minimum 16-bit  colour mode.  

Browser Settings: The browser should be set to view the text at “Medium” text size setting. You can do this by clicking “View” on the Internet Explorer menu bar and selecting “Medium” from the “Text Size” option. If you use a different font size, some of the formatting will be lost and the pages will not appear as intended.

Use the default font size setting when using Netscape Navigator. 

Printing: The CD version is intended to let you view and search the book’s contents. To print pages as they appear in the book, use the linked PDF versions by clicking the buttons labeled “Download” alongside each listing for topic on the “Contents” page or by clicking the buttons labeled "Printable Version" on each map / table.

You need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer in order to view and print from the PDF files. If you do not have this software you can download it from Adobe’s web site (www.adobe.com) or install it from Installation files provided on this CD.
