Augustine A. Ayantunde

Ayuntunde is senior livestock scientist at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). He has 20 years of experience working on ruminant nutrition and evaluation of feed resources in the West African Sahel, carrying out participatory testing and evaluation of livestock-related options for sustainable intensification of crop-livestock systems in West Africa, and evaluation and monitoring of natural resource use in pastoral and agro-pastoral systems, including multi-partner projects. He was coordinator for Kano-Katsina-Maradi action site of West Africa Sahel and Dry Savanna flagship of the Dryland Systems CRP and coordinator of the Volta and Niger basin focal region project of Water, Land and Ecosystems CRP.
