Brenda Coromina

Brenda graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, a concentration in International History, and a certificate in Religion, Ethics, and World Affairs from Georgetown University. While there, she also interned at the U.S House of Representatives, and the U.S Embassy Tunis where she facilitated creative programming remotely. During the summer of 2019, she worked off the grid as a sustainability intern for the Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center where she assisted the upkeep of an organic community garden and facilitated events. As a writer for Veterans Affairs, she highlighted United States’ veterans’ stories on the VA blog. Brenda also graduated from Miami Dade College in 2018 with her Associate of Arts in International Relations. There, she interned as a casework assistant and English/Civics instructor for the International Rescue Committee and coached English language learners for their prospective citizenship exams at the Immigrant Resource Center.

Currently, she works with the ILRI CKM Team as an assistant editor and writer through Princeton in Africa.
