Ecosystem Ecologist

Dr. Sircely is a Senior Scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). He has over 20 years of experience in theoretical and applied ecology and conservation, including interdisciplinary collaborations with farmers, herders, civil society, and governments. His work presently centers on management and restoration of communal grazing lands for better livelihoods and the environment, using approaches ranging from local to global simulation modelling, to multi-stakeholder action research, to the testing and scaling of interdisciplinary management approaches.
