Peter Lule Mulindwa
Peter Lule Mulindwa is a PHD fellow with the BUILD project working with the Peste des Petit Ruminants component with interest in the socio-economics. He is pursuing a Phd in Agribusiness at the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. He holds a Master’s degree of Agribusiness management and a Bachelor’s degree of Veterinary Medicine both attained from Makerere University Kampala Uganda.
Prior to his fellowship, he worked in the local government system of Uganda as a veterinary officer for 4 years. He moved to ILRI as a Master’s graduate fellow from 2012 up to 2013 working on the project; “Smallholder Pig Value Chain Development in Uganda”. He has also worked with ILRI as a Research Technician (2013- 2019) on several projects all in the field of livestock diseases, animal nutrition, animal genetics, and livestock economics. In all these he amassed experience in assesing livestock related issues in value chains, business models and market surveys. he has expertise in developing of research protocols, drafting of technical reports, designing and carrying out field surveys and drafting technical reports.
