Philip Miriti

Research Officer

Philip Miriti is a research officer working in the Sustainable Livestock Systems (SLS) Program. He joined ILRI from the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) where he was working as a research associate. He worked in the Harnessing Opportunities for Productivity Enhancement (HOPE II) project and The Accelerated Varietal Improvement and Seed Delivery of Legumes and Cereals in Africa (AVISA) among other projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda. His research interests include Gender analysis, Consumer Preference Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, and Participatory Research Methods. Miriti holds a Collaborative Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics (CMAAE) and a Bachelor's degree in Agribusines Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
