TRANG THI HUYEN LE
Trang holds a dual Master’s degree in One Health for assessment and management of health risks at the human, animal and ecosystem interface at Kasetsart University, Thailand and Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Toulouse, France in 2018. Her research interests are in the field of infectious disease and food safety using One Health approach, including the evaluation of socio-economic impact to improve human attitude and health. Prior to joining ILRI, she was a researcher at the Center for Public Health and Ecosystem Research (CENPHER), Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH), worked mainly on AMR and food safety topics. She has been involved in One Health initiatives in Vietnam One Health University Network (VOHUN) for 3 years, working to influence higher education systems in 17 universities in Vietnam to adopt multidisciplinary and experiential learning and education approaches to produce field ready graduates for current health challenges. She was also a consultant on One Health, food safety and AMR at ILRI in Hanoi. Trang will report to Hung Nguyen, and support AHH team in Hanoi with research activities under AHH program activities in the region.
