Animal and human health program

As the health component of a global, pro-poor livestock research institute, the objective of the Animal and Human Health program is to generate new knowledge and technologies that provide the evidence base and options for developing and disseminating the best available strategies for assessing and managing animal diseases that matter to poor people.

The Program comprises four main areas of research: food safety; herd health; neglected zoonotic diseases; and vaccines and diagnostics.
