Muthoni Mucheruy is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public with a post-graduate specialization in international law from the University of Nairobi. She joined ILRI in 2013 as legal officer, and since late December 2018 has been acting as ILRI’s legal counsel. Muthoni is experienced in contract management, intellectual property, technology transfer, legal and regulatory compliance and corporate law. Previously, she worked as a legal researcher at the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law in Strathmore University. She enjoys swimming and reading fiction.
