World Antimicrobial Awareness Week

This session addresses Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) using a One Health approach with three high-level speakers:

• Jimmy Smith, director general at ILRI
• Elywn Grainger-Jones, managing director, institutional strategy and systems and a member of the executive management team for the One CGIAR 
• Anders Dalsgaard, scientific consultant at ICARS

Elywn Grainger-Jones, managing director, institutional strategy and systems and a member of the executive management team for the One CGIAR will share the vision on addressing AMR and filling gaps within the One CGIAR.

Anders Dalsgaard, professor and scientific consultant at ICARS will share their vision on addressing AMR in low- and middle-income countries. 

This session takes a deep dive into the work that various CGIAR institutions have been carrying out to address the emergence and spread of AMR. This session brings all centers together to share AMR activities at the livestock, aquaculture and water sectors, and to address the gaps which exist in the crop production sectors.
