Welcome to ILRI
The International Livestock Research Institute works at the interface of people, livestock and science.
We generate knowledge and technologies designed to reduce poverty, hunger, disease and environmental degradation in developing countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Based in Kenya and Ethiopia, we work with partners worldwide to enhance livestock pathways out of poverty.
