Rodgers Rogito works as a Research Associate in the Animal Nutrition Laboratory. He coordinates and runs the day-to-day activities of the lab. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Chuka University, Kenya, and a Masters in Soil Science from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He is an expert field and laboratory technician, seasoned with over 6 years’ experience in research and development. His expertise lies in soil carbon and carbon farming. Rodgers has hands-on experience in climate-smart agriculture, and environmental research focusing on greenhouse gases such as CO2, N2O, and CH4 from soil, plants and livestock. His work aims to generate scientific data on emissions levels to inform policy changes in combating climate change.
