Thanh Nguyen joined International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in January 2015 and is now holding the position of regional operations manager for the ILRI East and Southeast Asia office in Hanoi.
Thanh has more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit and profit sectors. Prior to joining ILRI, she was admin and finance manager at Helen Keller International Vietnam, and finance and admin officer for Health Policy Initiative Vietnam, funded by USAID to Abt Associates Inc (2009-2013), program associate for Pathfinder International (2005-2009). Having a solid background in project management, administration, and finance management, Thanh works closely with the regional representative for East and Southeast Asia to run the regional office and facilitate projects in the region. Thanh holds a Bachelor of Arts in international economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University and a Master's degree in economics from Hanoi National Economics University.
