Team leader, Antimicrobial resistance

Arshnee Moodley is the Team Lead for Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and a joint appointee with the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). A microbiologist by training with over two decades of AMR experience and >100 publications, Arshnee works at the interface of science, policy, and action to promote responsible antimicrobial use and mitigate resistance risks in agri-food systems, particularly within smallholder and semi-intensive livestock systems in low- and middle-income countries..Her work also explores the environmental footprint of livestock antimicrobial use. She leads several AMR initiatives at ILRI including the CGIAR AMR Hub and she serves as the Chair of the WOAH Working Group on AMR and the Quadripartite AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform Steering Committee.
