Dr. Abonesh Tesfaye is a Senior Consultant at AICCRA Ethiopia & East and Southern Africa programmes, hosted at the International Livestock Research Institute in Ethiopia. She works on the economy-wide impacts of climate and weather services, the socioeconomic impact assessment of climate-smart agricultural practices, the role of climate-smart agricultural practices in gender empowerment and parity in Ethiopia and East Africa. Further, she is facilitating the needs assessment studies and activities for the design of a land, soil, and crop information services hub.
