This partnership brings together various actors from different disciplines to address member country’s challenges, to identify transformative and inclusive strategies, develop innovative responses to challenges and risks, and provide policy and institutional recommendations. 

The Africa Food System Forum (AFSF) offers an opportunity to showcase the IsDB-CGIAR Partnership ‘s contribution to food system transformations. This partnership aims to identify sustainable pathways enabling investments for the food and agriculture sectors along with transformative approaches/programs to address food and nutrition insecurity in IsDB member countries. The forum will also highlight programs designed around the use of science, innovations, and technologies, to complement the national food security efforts to avert the ongoing food crisis, and as a means of strengthening member country resilience to future food security shocks.
