Rangelands Rising: Investing in Sustainable Management and Restoration
Abstract
The study was developed to support the Rangelands Flagship Initiative of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). It is the result of a broad collaborative effort involving contributors from many organizations, guided by a team representing the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), the Economics of Land Degradation (ELD) Initiative, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the UNCCD, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN).
