Genetic resistance to animal trypanosomiasis in Africa

Abstract

Examines the genetic basis of trypanotolerance with particular reference to Africa, environmental factors which can influence its stability like age, stress (work, pregnancy etc.), nutrition and disease, and the possible mechanisms responsible; looks at the tyrpanotolerance of different breeds.
