Improving Manure Management Data for Livestock MRV and Emissions Estimation
Abstract
Presentation for the Livestock MRV Capacity Building and Action Planning Workshop in Kampala. It explains why improved manure-management data are needed for accurate livestock greenhouse-gas inventories and Tier 2 estimation, identifies determinants of methane and nitrous oxide emissions from manure, and links manure properties and management systems with data requirements for national MRV.
