Dr Cargele Masso works at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), focusing on agroecological livestock systems. He leads global engagement, advocacy, and co-learning for the CGIAR multifunctional landscapes program. Previously, he directed the CGIAR Impact Area Platform on Environmental Health and Biodiversity and contributed to IITA's natural resource management program. Dr Masso has participated in international networks like the International Nitrogen Initiative and serves as Secretary-General of the African Soil Science Society.
