Repeatability of measurements of packed cell volume and egg count as indicators of endoparasite load and their relationship with sheep productivity

Abstract

Presents results of a study undertaken to investigate the relationship of Packed Cell Volume (PCV) and Eggs Per Gram (EPG) to performance, and to estimate the repeatibility of the two measurements in a monthly parasite monitoring scheme. Includes data on body score, live weight of milk teeth male sheep and of all male sheep, and lambing interval.
