Leah Symekher is the senior manager-capacity development at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI),Nairobi, Kenya, and is enthusiastic about developing capacities of young career scientists into the next generation livestock scientists. She oversees the Capacity Development Unit at ILRI that manages the ILRI fellowship program and advances innovative capacity development initiatives for ILRI and its partners. Leah holds a Master in Education- Curriculum Studies and a Bachelor in Education Science. Before joining ILRI, she worked in the private sector specifically in training and development unit.
