
Sustainable beef investment roundtable
About the event
The sustainable beef investment roundtable, organized by the GEF-funded project STELARR (Sustainable Investments for Large Scale Rangeland Restoration) in collaboration with the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, will convene global stakeholders to catalyze private sector investment in sustainable livestock value chains that restore land, support biodiversity, and address climate change.
Objective
To strengthen a pipeline of investable sustainable beef enterprises with environmental, social, and economic benefits through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and policy support.

Why invest in sustainable beef
Sustainable beef production plays a critical role in addressing global challenges related to food insecurity, climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation. When integrated with conservation and restoration practices, beef production becomes a nature-positive solution that supports ecosystem health and restoration, national conservation, carbon sequestration, rural livelihood and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
