Checklist: Rangeland restoration investment good practice planning and implementation

Abstract

The checklist summarizes the main elements that investors should review when preparing or assessing rangeland restoration investments. It can be used during early planning, due diligence or implementation to support clarity, reduce risk and strengthen long-term outcomes. Not all elements in this checklist are expected to be fully in place at the outset; some will be developed progressively over the investment lifecycle as governance, capacity and ecological recovery advance.
