Scientist

I am livestock scientist with 9 years international experiences in crop-livestock systems and feed value chains in sub-Saharan Africa. I focus on mobilizing innovation solutions and investments necessary to support inclusive economic growth and give smallholders farmers (especially women and youth involved in livestock activities) a hand up instead of a hand out. I work closely with various researchers and development agents in searching of new adaptive technologies, approaches and climate-smart practices for sustainable livestock-based agriculture. Together, we make sure that we are giving to the poorest the strong arm that will help to adapt their own practice for sustainable, food-secure livelihoods and environment conservation.
