Michel Dione hold a DVM, MSc in environmental Sciences and a PhD in Medical Sciences. He has more than 10 years experience in research on livestock (pigs, small ruminants and poultry) health and control of zoonotic diseases in smallholder livestock systems in sub-Sahara Africa. He also carry out research on how to improve the delivery of animal health services and inputs such as vaccines to the farm; as well drivers of antimicrobial use and resistance in livestock using a One Health approach.
