Terry has more than 15 years’ experience in publications, communication and knowledge management, and is driven by a passion to produce content that is engaging and interactive for diverse institutions and audiences – from scientists and farmers to students and policymakers. Previously, she has worked in editorial and information dissemination teams at, among others, Oxford University Press, International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) and Nation Media Group, and as a consulting editor for various research institutions. Her role in ILRI's communications, advocacy and knowledge management team revolves around the publishing process, including providing editorial guidance and oversight for publications, and quality control for digital pipelines and assets.
