Linnet Ochieng is a Microbiologist, currently serving as a Research Officer at the International Livestock Research Institute. With a primary focus on addressing Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in the context of livestock production systems, Linnet spearheads impactful capacity-building efforts aimed at improving Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) practices in laboratories across Africa. She holds a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology from Maseno University, Kenya, and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Egerton University, Kenya.
