Yanamani Nepal has been serving as Assistant Scientist – Livestock Production at ILRI since November 2022, supporting the SAPLING initiative of One CGIAR in Nepal. He earned his Master’s degree in Agricultural Production Chain Management from the Netherlands and a veterinary degree from Tribhuvan University. Before ILRI, he worked with FAO to design and pilot Nepal’s Good Dairy Husbandry Practices certification framework and supported cooperative development at Agriterra. His current focus is on advancing inclusive and sustainable livestock value chains. In his leisure time, Yanamani enjoys nature, travel, and quality moments with loved ones.
