PhD Gradaute Fellow

My background is in international development. My work has touched on climate adaptation, water and soil nutrient management, resource conflict, smallholder supply chains and technology adoption, with increasing attention towards the intersectional reality of discrimination and social exclusion. Among other things, my work seeks to further our attention towards socio-environmental change being situated within structural and relational dynamics of power. Currently, I am examinig how multi-stakeholder processes shape participatory innovation within resource management settings. This project is supported by the University of Ottawa, ILRI's Sustainable Livestock Systems program, the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
