Robert has worked in the area of antimicrobial resistance including on One Health related issues for more than 25 years. As Scientific Director, he is part of the management team he is closely involved in the strategic and organizational development and is responsible for the scientific content and actions of ICARS. He works closely with the ICARS Operations and Partnerships team on establishing and maintaining collaborations and connections to countries and international stakeholders a medical doctor and specialist in clinical microbiology. He is a renowned expert on antimicrobial resistance and has served on several internal WG and advisory boards in that capacity.
